| The design of an effective security system is developed through the recognition of 'key points' and vulnerable routines. Whilst we work closely with architects, mechanical and electrical consultants, builders and developers, prior to and during construction phases of projects, we believe it should not be left to these other advisors to evaluate specific security requirements and to determine specification. This should be the product of a detailed assessment of the 'Operational Requirement', conducted by ourselves and involving all stakeholders involved in the project.
Future has the experience in the design, supply
and installation of security systems with, at
all times, the emphasis being on detailed analysis
of the problems to be solved and proper functionality
of the finished product. Our 'tactical appreciation'
of where products, such as CCTV cameras and access
controls, will achieve their best effect, come
from years of auditing sites where little, if
any, thought has gone into the resources available
to operate complex systems and what an organisation's
existing procedures may do to invalidate a systems
innate benefits.
We have seen millions of pounds spent on access controls only for it to be become devalued and inoperable due to a lack of security awareness from staff and an inadequate culture or lack of policy and procedures from the company. No security system, however sophisticated, can operate in isolation from entrenched corporate philosophy which, if not revised through correct strategies and training will prevent achievement of the aims and objectives of the installation.
At Future we have unrivalled experience and a 'real world' approach to the requirement to fully integrate security systems with strategy policy and procedures concomitant with a company's operational culture.
